Trashcan Time Machine was developed in an effort by the Downtown Tacoma Partnership and City of Tacoma to help make our city as clean and sustainable as possible, while highlighting some of Tacoma’s unique historical events that have taken place downtown over the decades.

The mission of Trashcan Time Machine is to keep downtown Tacoma litter-free while taking the garbage disposal experience to a new and more engaging level. Take a step back in time as you take out your trash.
